Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson may have reconnected after Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary event — but there's a caveat.
The exes, who dated for nine months between late 2021 and 2022, "were spotted talking at the afterparties," People reported on Monday, February 17, the morning after a weekend full of celebrations. But a source close to Davidson, 31, told the outlet that "the conversation was not romantic."
"He has nothing but love and respect for Kim," the insider shared. "He hopes everyone can move on."

Kardashian and Davidson — who first met in October 2021 when the SKIMS founder kissed the SNL cast member in an Aladdin sketch on the show — both participated in SNL50 special on Sunday night. The stars each walked the red carpet — separately — and each performed on the show (also separately, with Kardashian in a viral Kristen Wiig skit and Davidson appearing in a musical sketch with John Mulaney, as well as his own skit, "Chad in 8H," with Laraine Newman).
Despite their August 2022 split, Kardashian and Davidson have remained on good terms in the years since. At the 2023 Met Gala, the former flames were photographed smiling and talking with Usher at the event.
The King of Staten Island star, who has been known for his high-profile relationships through the years, recently discussed what it's like to run into ex-fiancée Ariana Grande in the time since their 2018 split.
"When we see each other, which is few and far between, because we're not in the same circles, it's all love," he told Page Six last week. Davidson even went as far as to root for Grande, who is nominated for a 2025 Academy Award for her role as Glinda in Wicked.
"I hope she wins the Oscar; I hope she takes the gold," Davidson shared.
